If you have modified the Name Servers for your domain or signed up for a New Domain, it will take 24-48 hours for you to be able to see your site on our servers. The reason for this delay is that when name servers are modified or a new domain is registered, this information has to be propagated across the Internet before you will be able to see the changes.

15. How do I transfer files to my web site?

Files can be transferred to the web server using an FTP program (File Transfer Protocol). You can download a program for either the PC or Mac from our site. Cute FTP is a shareware FTP program, available from cuteftp.com . An FTP tutorial is available for first time users.

Microsoft FrontPage users can 'publish' their sites to our server and should not use FTP.

26. Can I delete my admin user and recreate it?

No, if you delete your admin user you will no longer have access to your web site and we will have to delete and recreate the whole site. Please make sure that you do not delete the admin user for your site.

27. Are there any other fees I need to be aware of relating to Domain Name registrations?
Additional fees will be required in the following circumstances only:

a) Change of registrant: If you want to change the ownership of a domain to another person or company, there is a one time fee of $30CDN or $20US.

b) Dead email address for administrative contact: This is the most important link to maintain the ownership of your domain. Request for any change to the domain will be verified by sending email to the administrative contact person. For any reason we need to change this email address and you can not verify from the current email address, you need to fax us two pieces of identification. This manual process takes time and we charge $30CDN or $20US.

c) Creating Name Server: You can have your own name servers for your domain. We can register and maintain your name server for you. For example: your name servers will be like these: ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com with two unique dedicated IP addresses. The charge for this service is $80CDN or $60US per year. If you provide your own IP addresses the cost will be half of that. Name servers can be created only for .com and .net domains.

d) Expired domain: If you fail to renew a domain before the expiry date, still you can renew that domain by paying additional fees. For the Domain Expiration Procedure Click here.
